Ordering and shipping
When you buy prescription glasses from Cirrus Eyewear
You will need to have a valid, non-expired prescription signed by your eye care specialist. In order to provide you with the greatest value for your purchase dollars and the highest degree of prescription accuracy, we are currently limiting orders of prescription eyewear to single vision prescriptions only.
You can upload your prescription to our website when you are prompted to do so during the checkout process or you can create an account with your prescription information. You can also email your prescription to us at email@example.com.
Multiple prescriptions can be added to your account, for example: Reading/Close-up, Intermediate (computer) or distance (driving). We will keep your prescription secure and confidential, always.
You can easily access your account to order new prescription glasses, sunglasses, or to update your prescription.
Your prescription can be entered manually into the prescription form during account creation or during checkout. All prescriptions must be validated with a photo of the current, non-expired prescription from your ophthalmologist or optometrist. If you do not have a copy of your prescription, please provide Cirrus Eyewear with the phone or fax number of the prescribing doctor.
Make sure that you also provide us with your PD or pupillary distance. This is usually provided by your optometrist, optician or ophthalmologist. If you don’t have this number, it is easy to measure, click Measuring your PD for instructions.
STANDARD SHIPPING FOR IN STOCK ITEMS
Our flat rate shipping and handling charge is free on US orders over $59.99 and $9.50 for USPS Priority mail on US orders of $59.99 and below. Priority mail includes insurance and tracking and your parcel should be delivered within 7-9 business days. The state delivery period within which you will receive your order is approximate. We will inform you if an item is out of stock and when it will be available. If you are ordering more than one items, your goods may be sent to you in separate boxes if certain items are out of stock.
PREMIUM 3-5 DAY SHIPPING FOR IN STOCK ITEMS
Flat rate shipping and handling charge is $21.00. With Premium Shipping your eyewear will be with you in 3-5 business days, when you order before 3pm (PST). After 3pm (PST) please add one day. The stated delivery period within which you will receive your order is approximate. We will inform you if an item is out of stock and when it will be available. Premium shipping is available to physical addresses in the Continental US only. Sorry we cannot ship Premium to p.o. boxes.
Please note that each order is for the personal, non-commercial use of the customer. Resale of any Cirrus Eyewear products without the express written consent of Cirrus Eyewear is strictly prohibited. Multiple orders representing what Cirrus Eyewear considers to be commercial quantities will not be accepted.
Shipments from the US to other countries are subject to country-specific import regulations which can incur duties and taxes levied as parcels enter the country. Should you need us to ship your parcel internationally, please contact Cirrus Eyewear directly at firstname.lastname@example.org so that we can provide personalized assistance.
Note that for inventory purposes, each item ordered constitutes an individual order. We will attempt to consolidate multiple orders in one shipment and on one invoice whenever possible. Because of inventory and packaging requirements, sometimes orders may be shipped in multiple installments.
Miraflex, Special AR and Mirror Coating orders take 2-3 weeks.
